What is coaching?

Coaching focuses on improving performance and developing an individual. Coaching activities have both organisational and individual goals. It provides an opportunity to assess their strengths and areas of development.

What is mentoring?

Our mentoring service proactively helps registered managers tackle their challenges, sharpening existing skills and developing new ones so they can confidently take the lead in key areas of their role.

We are able to provide mentoring for a range of care organisation management positions such as:

Support
Worker

We can work alongside Support Workers so that they learn how to deliver person centred care and work in line with the organisations systems and values. We will focus on how the person contributes to a positive culture within the workplace. We will identify areas of support required and help the person to enhance their training and develop their skills and competencies.

Team
Leader

We will work alongside team leaders to ensure they understand the expectations of the role. As a senior member of the team we can help to enhance their leadership skills so that they can effectively manage their team. We will provide guidance and training around supervision and management of staff performance.

Deputy
Manager

Working alongside the deputy manager to enhance their experience and expertise in line with the expectations of the organisation. Support with effective time management, leadership and monitoring of staff performance.

Home/Service
Manager

We will work alongside a manager and identify areas of development. We can help them to ensure that they are meeting the requirements of the registered manager as well as the demands of the role. Support with all aspects of the management role.
